Additional Details

This company's mines were located on the slopes of 14,204-foot Mount Princeton in Chaffee County, CO. We find scant mention of the original company in contemporary newspapers beyond a brief notice of its formation in the Emporia (Kansas) Daily News on 27 July 1881, noting that " the property purchased by this company is adjoining the Dandy [Mine] and bids fair to rival it." Its name changed twice by merger. We trace no other examples of any of these pamphlets, or any other material relating to the initial company, in OCLC or at auction.
