The bark Benjamin Franklin left Fall River, MA on 20 November 1860 for an Atlantic whaling voyage under Captain George Brown, returning on 20 October 1862--a few weeks after this document was issued. This was the last whaling voyage out of Fall River. Starbuck, page 578; Whaling Masters, page 62.
