The YCWPA, established in 1905, offered rooms "for the accommodation of lady transients," worked for "the protection of girls out of employment," and tried to "encourage commercial enterprise among our women." The card names the founder as Miss Dayse D. Walker; she became Mrs. Dayse Booker in 1910.
