The frontispiece shows a woman presenting Liberty with a copy of Mary Wollstonecraft's recently published Vindication of the Rights of Woman (a book reviewed at great length in the September issue). Articles include "Scheme for Increasing the Power of the Fair Sex" and "On Matrimonial Obedience," which protests the use of the word "obey" in the marriage vows. Evans 22951.
