Additional Details

An advertising circular disguised as a Sunday newspaper magazine insert. It features Lena Horne on the cover, and illustrated blurbs on Josephine Baker, Marian Anderson, Bill Robinson and Philippa Schuyler. It also includes 5 advertisements for Madam Walker's products.

The Indiana Historical Society holds two issues of this periodical, including this one. They place the date as circa 1950. Mentions of Sergeant Joe Louis's title defense against Billy Conn "last June," and a party for the second anniversary of the play Anna Lucasta in August, places the date in late 1946. We are aware of no other examples.
