A re-working of the 1628 Jansson pocket atlas plate "Typus Orbis Terrarum" engraved by Abraham Goos. The geography remains unchanged but the title, strapwork cusps and the text on Terra Australis have been erased, leaving faint traces of the engraving still present. Burden 325.
