Highly unusual and extremely scarce, with accompanying letter from the U. S. Army Center of Military History finding no copies in institutional collections. Volumes consist of support maps plus incredibly detailed descriptions of various routes which might be used by the military. Volume on Palestine contains one map bound in and 3 large folding maps in the rear pocket. Syria volume contains 2 large folding maps in the rear pocket. Iraq volume contains one map bound in and 2 large folding maps and 2 smaller folding maps in the rear pocket. On the title-page of each volume is a warning, "This is a security document which must be safeguarded."
