Approximately 600 photographs, various sizes ranging from 3 x 5 to 6 x 8 inches; most slightly curled, many with typed or manuscript captions on verso, many with pencil inventory numbers on verso; most with inked stamp of the U.S. Army Signal Corps A.E.F. and a censor's "passed" stamp on verso, a few either uncredited or stamped "American Red Cross Official Photograph." Most of these photographs show the American military bases and hospitals in England, including aerial views, candid shots of the troops, boxing matches, visiting dignitaries including President Wilson and King George V, and more.
