Additional Details

A touching photograph of three friends in uniform, who in all likelihood enlisted together. There were training programs like ROTC at historically black colleges like Howard as early as 1916. These three young men might well have been part of such a program. The Wilmington Light Infantry trained in Wilmington, Delaware.
