A selection of 5 photographs taken with the first Kodak cameras fitted with flexible film for everyday use. Albumen prints, the images measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm.) in diameter, the sheets 4x3 inches (10.2x7.6 cm.), the mounts 5 1/4x4 1/4 inches (13.3x10.8 cm.), each with a Kodak back mark on mount verso. 1888

The first amateur camera produced by George Eastman took 100 photographs and came pre-loaded with film for $25. After all 100 frames were exposed, the camera was returned to the laboratory where the prints were printed and mounted for $10 and the camera returned to the owner freshly loaded with film.
