The largest group we've offered in eight years, including 16 issues from the 1960s. Many of the early issues contain revolutionary art by Emory Douglas. The title changed to "The Black Panther Intercommunal News Service" by 1971. A few highlights include 1 November 1969 with the "Political Prisoners of USA Fascism" cover; 28 February 1970 with "One of Our Main Purposes is to Unify Our Brothers and Sisters in the North"; 13 May 1972 endorsing Shirley Chisholm; and 7 December 1972 with "Poverty is a Crime" (a variation on Dorothea Lange's "Migrant Mother" photo) on the back cover. By year, the 35 issues include 2 issues from 1968; 14 issues from 1969; 9 issues from 1970; 12 issues from 1971; 29 issues from 1972; and 14 issues from 1973.

Also included are issues of "SDS New Left Notes"; "Right On: Revolutionary Peoples Communication Network"; "People Get Ready"; "Auto Workers Focus: Black Panthers Caucus"; "Black Unity" from Camp Pendleton, CA; and "People's World" (2 issues) from 1969-1972. Complete inventory on request.
