First edition, signed and dated [19]38 by Walt Disney, also with "4" inked on the front flap of the jacket in his hand. According to the auction description Disney is understood to have signed and numbered 5 copies for presentation at the time of publication. The first two were presented to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret, and this copy, no. 4, to unspecified recipient (Phillips, London, 18 September 1998).
