Additional Details

First edition of one of the more popular Nahuatl-Spanish dictionaries. Another edition in 183 pages was issued by Martinez, apparently later that year, and it went through as many as 16 editions over the course of three centuries. Medina, Mexico 256; Palau 15920 ("rarisima"); Pilling 150; Sabin 1935 ("volume of great rarity . . . a complete copy is scarcely known"). 6 copies in OCLC, and none traced at auction since 1926.
