Etching and aquatint on cream wove paper, circa 1955. 114x191 mm; 4 1/2x7 1/2 inches, wide margins. Signed, titled, and numbered 11/15 in pencil, lower margin. Printed in 1975 by printmaker Stephanie Pogue, who signed and inscribed "Impression: Stephanie E. Pogue, 1975" in pencil, lower margin.
Alternative titles used by Aaron Douglas for this scarce etching include Vineyard Haven and Three Trees. After receiving a Carnegie Foundation grant, Douglas travelled and painted along the East Coast in the summer of 1951 - including a visit to Martha's Vineyard. Earle p. 220.
