Condition A- / B+: creases, abrasions and overpainting along vertical and horizontal folds. Of the few Art Deco-inspired posters by Brunyer, most derive some aspect of their imagery from posters designed by other artists. In an exceptional image for Paris-Soir, Brunyer mimics the perspective Cassandre used for the trees along the side of the road in his poster for La Route Bleue. Here, promoting the need for fresh and abundant running water in the home, he takes his own design road. Placing the image on an alluring diagonal, employing appropriate colors and using solid sans-serif typography, he creates an appealing, Modernist call for the most practical of all amenities.
