A separate imprint from Ackermann''s History of Colleges, Public Schools, 1816 (Abbey, Scenery 438). The complete edition was under-subscribed, and it is likely that the remainder sheets were issued as separate histories (Ford, Ackermann). The set is considered the finest pictorial record of the nine most famous schools in England.
