Adams later remembered The American Place exhibition as one of his best, writing to English that "The show was presented in a way that I can never describe. Not only were the prints hung in a visually perfect way, but the hanging actually psychoanalyzed me." This print was remounted in 1980, but is offered with the orginal mount, on the back of which is Adams's label and inscription, "For Patsy."
