". . . The bearer of this letter, Mr. Pedersen, is appointed Minister from the King of Denmark to the United States, and goes to Liverpool to take passage there. . . .
"He has taken charge of the despatch for you containing your Commission, with the exequatur . . . .
"I have not lately sent you any packets for the United States, having met with several opportunities from this Port. I send some by Mr. Penderson, and among them a Letter, direct to Charleston South Carolina . . . .
"Mr Bagot has taken leave of the Prince Regent, and goes to Portsmouth next week to embark in a Frigate for Annapolis . . . ."
