Les Fumades is spa town located in the Ceze Valley at the foot of the Cevennes mountains, known not only for its curative waters rich in sulfur and minerals, but also its ancient heritage and luscious green flora and fauna. The image makes good use of the concept that a tourist poster is supposed to be a window into another world by using its dark brown border to present a view as if actually through a window. The image is rich in detail, from the topography and foliage, to the Thonet rocking chair, the lemons on the table and the crystal decanter.
