This image appeared as the cover of a catalogue for the Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette. Allegedly, it was intended to be used as a poster as well, however, no large-format copy has ever surfaced. The piece represents the first time that Cassandre used photography in his graphic design. Creating a collage using a photograph taken by the Studio Lorelle, Cassandre uses only a small rectangular area of the woman's face, treating the rest of her head graphically against a sharp red background. He cleverly puts the line "J'achète tout" (I buy everything) under her lips. The extremely sophisticated typography was reused later that year on another, purely typographic poster.
