ADRIAN VAN'T HOFF (1893-1939) POSTVLUCHTEN. 341/2x24 inches. Condition A-: staining in margins. Van't Hoff was another Dutch designer who was strongly influenced by Cassandre's work to which he was exposed when they worked together for the Holland America Line. Technically he was able to capture the essence of "The Master's" style, but he infused it with his own warmer, personal style. For the Dutch Air Mail service he provides a classic image of a stylized airplane with impeccable typography. This image also exists with an orange background.
