Additional Details

Published in 1947 and distributed without charge to associates of the Columbia Broadcasting System in celebration of the advent of color television, this charming book juxtaposes the limitations imposed upon "black-and-white glimp" in his colorless tv world with the chromogenic joys bestowed upon "colored glimp" by her set. Spoiler alert: a romance ensues. The second leaf states: "This book is dedicated to the young in heart, for it is their vision that has given us the miracle of television." Pomerance A42 states that no precise publication date or number could be determined as records were not kept by CBS. Provenance: Mort Rubenstein, long-time art director for CBS.
