The caption reads "Anthony Quayle as (Talmur the Lame) 'Tamburlaine the Great'--at the height of his power having successfully risen from shepherd and thief to conqueror of Persia,Turkey, Egypt and all Asia.--Glutted and corrupted by power he is here depicted being borne triumphantly on a chariot pulled by the defeated kings of Asia--King Trebizond and King of Soria.
