Advertising flights to the west coast of Africa, a gray plane is seen behind a native African, whose arrow, poised in his taut bowstring, marks the same trajectory as the path of the plane. Brenet designed posters primarily for shipping companies, but also did a lot of illustrations of airplanes and cars. He was the official artist for the French Air Force and Navy. The aircraft is an American Sikorsky S-43 Amphibian. L'Histoire de l'Aviation p. 153, Negripub 68, Plus Haut p. 207.
