Condition B+: restored losses in bottom corners; repaired tears and creases in margins; unobtrusive horizontal fold. Very little is known about this artist except for three posters he designed for the London Underground. Here utilizing an interesting celestial conceit, Fruin successfully captures the emergence of spring after a long cold winter by illustrating the same bucolic stretch of river (reachable by London's Underground) in two different seasons.
