Funded by the Treasury Department's Section of Fine Arts, Albert Pels completed the following two murals: Normal, Illinois Post Office, Development of the State Normal School, 1938; U.S. Courtroom of the Wilmington Post Office, Landing of the Swedes at the Rocks in Wilmington, Wilmington, Delaware. Later moved to the Rodney Square Station Post Office, Wilmington, Delaware.
