Complete set of 16 engravings, 1507-13. Each aproximately 118x75 mm; 4 3/4x3 inches. Each early, richly-inked Meder a impressions, with very strong contrasts and no sign of wear, consistent with the earliest impressions of these engravings (Meder 4 and 10 are a-b impressions). Meder 3, 5 and 7 with partial high crown watermark (Meder 20, which he dates from around 1480 to 1525 and notes on the earliest impressions of The Engraved Passion). Each but four of the engravings with narrow to thread margins (four of the engravings with thread margins or trimmed on the plate mark); each remargined for uniformity, in grangerized mounts, and bound into an album of full scarlet crushed Morocco by Chambolle-Duru, with marbled slip case and folder.
