Etching, circa 1515. 187x139 mm; 7 1/2x5 1/2 inches, thread margins. A very good Meder I b-c impression, before the rust marks, with strong contrasts particularly in the center of the composition, and crisp, partially inky plate edges.
A very scarce subject; we have found fewer than 20 impressions at auction in the past 25 years. Bartsch 70; Meder 95.
