Woodcut, circa 1498. 390x283 mm; 15 3/8x11 5/8 inches. A superb, dark and evenly-printed Meder II c-d impression of this very scarce, early woodcut, with the razor-thin break in the block over the horse's hoof and the breaks in the border line. Trimmed on the border line, with portions of the border lines preserved all around.
