Additional Details

Expurgated copy, inscribed and signed by Fray Juan Domingo Arricivita, with leaf T5 removed, text on adjacent leaves scored, and nudity inked out on a number of illustrations. Arricivita headed the Colegio Apostólico in Querétaro, the first Franciscan missionary college in Mexico; his 1792 chronicle of that institution is an important source for Franciscan missions to Texas and California.
