ALCOTT, LOUISA MAY. Two items: Autograph Manuscript, unsigned * Autograph Letter Signed, "L.M. Alcott." The manuscript, fragment of the draft of her Jack and Jill, 24 lines with a few holograph corrections. 1 page, 4to, ruled paper; minor smudging to text at right edge (but still legible), remnants of prior mounting along right edge verso. The letter, to "Dear Sir," arranging to send a short story for $100. 1 page, 8vo, with integral blank; receipt date in blue pencil at upper edge recto, remnants of prior mounting to terminal page along center vertical fold.
