Diggelmann opened his own studio at the beginning of the 1930s. He specialized in sports and tourism posters, working for fashionable resorts like Gstaad, Klosters, St. Moritz and Interlaken. His varied oeuvre included classical and stylized landscapes, the famous white rabbit of St. Moritz, Neue Sachlichkeit and more. In addition, he designed advertising posters for prominent Swiss companies like PKZ, Kaffee-Hag and Orange Frutta. This poster also comes in an English version that says "Aug. 9th. Swiss Swimming Championships" at the bottom. This is the German version. Rare.
