The Circus.

Color lithograph, 1975. 665x949 mm; 26x38 inches, full margins. Signed and numbered 80/125 in pencil, lower margin. Published by Maeght, Paris. A very good impression.

During the spring of 1925, Calder spent two weeks in New York illustrating the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and during the winter of 1925 sketched the Sarasota, Florida, training camp of the Ringling circus.
