Toned silver print, the image measuring 13¼x10¼ inches (33.7x26 cm.), flush mounted, with two "Nathaniel E. Stein Collection" labels on mount verso, one with an inscription in ink; in a period frame.
The typed inscription on the first label reads as follow: "A direct enlargement from the famous Hessler glass negative of 1860 now in the possession of King Hostick of Chicago. The photograph was expressly made for the Lincoln presidential campaign."
