Ex-collection Gabriel Séailles (1852-1922), the Parisian philosopher, with his ink stamp lower right recto (not in Lugt).

With--Study for "La Justice du Pacha," pen and ink and pencil on cream laid paper, circa 1866. 205x131 mm; 8 1/4x5 1/4 inches.

Dehodencq's oil La Justice du Pacha was first exhbited at the Salon in Paris in 1866; it is now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts Salies, Bagnères-de-Bigorre.
