ALFRED STIEGLITZ (1864-1946)
A complete set of the 1906 Camera Work issues with Numbers 13, 14, 15, 16, and the Steichen Supplement in an original presentation binding. An exceptional and compelling set of Camera Work Numbers 13, 14, 15, 16, and the Steichen Supplement bound together in a supple leather period presentation binding, perhaps by Otto Knoll, apparently used by Stieglitz for presentation volumes of his publication (Knoll's services were featured in advertisements in Camera Work issues). Featuring Steichen's iconic Flatiron Building. Thick 4to, custom presentation binding of stamped suede (with a stylized "CW" on the front cover and the title and date on the backstrip) over boards, lightly worn, with the original wrappers bound in.
New York, 1906

The set of the five issues is complete with all the plates including:
-Number 13, January 1906, with three plates by Hugo Henneberg, four by Heinrich Kuhn, five by Hans Watzek; a Steichen poster for the Photo-Secession; text by F. Mathies-Masuren, Kuhn, Watzek, Charles Caffin, F.H. Evans, Kerfoot, and others
