Condition B: creases, tears, losses and abrasions at edges, with significant loss at bottom left corner; creases and wrinkling in image and along vertical and horizontal folds.

Born Alexander Penrose Forbes Ritchie, in Dundee, Scotland, Alick studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Antwerp before settling in London as a commercial artist. He was known for his satirical cartoons and caricatures (subjects include Charlie Chaplin, Rudyard Kipling and George Bernard Shaw) published in various periodicals, as well as designs for London Underground and Canadian Pacific. He created at least one other for Buffalo Bill in his oeuvre of theatrical posters.
