Printed in Prague by the Umelecka Reklama advertising agency, whose logo, "UR," appears on the poster. The firm oversaw the design of many posters promoting films, travel and commercial products. Salac designed a number of posters for the firm in addition to designing magazine and book illustrations. Here he illustrates the Orava Castle, in Slovakia. Built in the 13th century, the castle is most famous for having been used in the 1922 film Nosferatu. Although the bridge still spans the Orava river as depicted, the snowcapped Tatra mountains in the background are collage fabrication, as the mountains aren't visible from this vantage point.
