From the third series of decorative panels depicting the four seasons designed by the artist. Unlike the earlier versions, these each came with a seasonally appropriate poem imprinted upon them. For autumn it reads in French, "Fall symbolizes the coming of age of the year and gathers the bounty of the grapes, giving the fruit which the summer has turned to gold." this piece is in the finest condition we have seen.
