Signed by Jacques Villon, and inscribed "d'après Modigliani" and "epreuve d'Essai" in pencil, lower margin. Etched by Villon. Published by Galerie Bernheim-Jeune, Paris. A very good, richly-inked impression with strong colors.
Based on Modigliani's (1884-1920) oil painting Gypsy Woman with Baby, 1919, now in The National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Ginestet/Pouillon 650 (Villon).
