Founded in 1924, A. B. Aerotransport (ABA) was Sweden's first airline company, and one of three that were eventually merged into SAS. This compelling photomontage depicts a Fokker F8. Beckman was one of Sweden's foremost graphic designers. He was renowned not only for his poster work, but also for the Pavillion he designed for the 1939 New York World's Fair and many other international exhibitions and events. In 1939 he founded the Anders Beckman School to train up-and-coming Swedish youth in fashion and advertising design. SAS p. 19.
