After Warhol's original 1985 screenprints of media photographs of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, New York and published by George C. P. Mulder, Amsterdam. These were part of Warhol's Reigning Queens portfolio, which included images of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and Queen Ntombi Twala of Swaziland.
