ANDY WARHOL
Invitation to screening of Andy Warhol's BAD.

Printed card with text by Buck Henry, 1977. 179x92 mm; 7x3 5/8 inches (sheet), full margins. Signed by both Warhol and the actress Carroll Baker, in felt-tip pen and ink, recto.

Andy Warhol's BAD, 1977, was a film directed by Jed Johnson, written by Pat Hackett and George Abagnalo, and produced by the artist and the Jeff Tornberg Production Company. It starred Perry King, Carroll Baker, and Susan Tyrrell, the latter of whom won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role. The comedy, described by actor, screenwriter, and director Buck Henry, as "an appreciation of the rhythm of metropolitan violence that sometimes seems to be too true to be merely eccentric. Some sex, lots of nastiness and plenty of laughs for the cheerfully depraved," was the last film produced by Warhol.
