This poster advertises a Christmas Art Fair in Prague held by the women members of the Dürerbund, a popular German artistic group active in Prague from 1903 to 1908. With its stylized typography and Secession-inspired, amorphous vegetal designs, is an interesting bridge between Art Nouveau and the newer, more modern Secessionist movement. Very little is known about Schrutz except that she participated in a few exhibitions between 1905 and 1913. rare.
