This drawing of an ignudo is most likely a study for a figure in a ceiling fresco. It recalls figures in Carracci's fresco cycle The Loves of the Gods, 1597-1608, in the Palazzo Farnese, Rome, and other fresco cycles by the artist and his workshop.
