Displaying the pomp and circumstance as well as the architecture and traditions of this Scandinavian country, royal guards are depicted parading past the statue of King Frederik V on the grounds of Amalienborg Palace. The palace was built in the middle of the 18th century and Denmark's royal family moved into it in 1794. It is currently the residence of Queen Margethe.
