A Lonely Place is the film noir story about a screenwriter suspected of murder, and has been considered one of Bogart's best roles. Released in 1950, this is one of at least two posters Ballester designed for the Italian release the following year. For this image he applied his considerable talents to reworking a scene of Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame which was used on one of the movie's American lobby cards.
