Etching, circa 1630. 245x154 mm; 9 5/8x6 1/8 inches, thread margins. Fourth state (of 5). Ex-collection Kunsthalle, Hamburg (Lugt 1328, verso). Horizontal crease with associated splitting (reinforced) visible mainly on the verso. A very good, early impression on thin cream laid paper. Hollstein 2; Maquoy/Hendrickx 2.

With--ANTHONY VAN DYCK (after). Portrait of Rubens, etching and engraving. 231x160 mm; 9 1/8x6 3/8 inches. Ex-collection Karl Eduard von Liphart (Lugt 1687, verso). Trimmed on the plate mark. A superb, early impression, with the guide lines for the text in the lower margin still printing clearly.
