A study for a poster in the Federal Art Project of the Works Progress Administration. Velonis brought his knowledge of silk-screen printing to the Federal Art Project and transformed their production methods allowing for a large and varied output of poster designs. It was Velonis who coined the term serigraphy, marking the difference between fine art screen-prints and commercial work.
