copy j of 26 lettered hors commerce copies signed by bochner and inscribed by him to arthur danto with an original drawing of a number range, with a quotation from Wittgenstein. The total edition was 326. Wittgenstein's last work. The Introduction by Danto, Johnsonian Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University and winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award for his art criticism, addresses Wittgenstein's philosophy and Bochner's prints. An exhibition of On Certainty and Bochner's prints for this project was mounted in 1992 at the Sonnabend Gallery in New York City.
